Nnanna has been an active spoken word poet since 2013, though his first stage appearance dates back to 2009 at the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC) event, National Theatre Lagos. He became a member of Paters Heritage Missions in 2010, joined CEDARS Nigeria in 2012, the Christ A Poet Team in 2014, and Enugu Literary Society in 2018.
